Sir Poképhon

In October 2022, Miguel Scheroff created “Sir Poképhan” for our group exhibition entitled Genuine Rhythm.

The whimsical painting was an eye-catcher through Scheroff’s thick brushstrokes and vibrant colors. The piece sold right before the opening, and attracted the eyes and hearts of many collectors.

Later in 2023, Zeid met the artist in Madrid during Uvnt Art Fair. The two shared interesting conversations about the art world today, and enjoyed Madrid’s stunning night life, a week to remember. They also decided to work together in the near future.

And today, as part of Août Gallery’s upcoming collaboration with Galeria Yusto Giner in Dubai (UAE), Miguel has created the sketch of his upcoming oil painting that will be showcased there in November.

We can’t wait to see it come to life, it looks amazing already.
