BIOGRAPHY
Rawan Rahim (b.1986) is a Lebanese-Iraqi multidisciplinary artist living between London
and Beirut, working primarily in painting. She earned a degree in Art History and French
Literature from the University College London before pursuing fine art at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Alongside her painting practice, she directed and produced LILOU, an animated short
featured in over 90 festivals worldwide. She has also illustrated two children’s books,
Grateful Tantouneh and When I Grow Up.
