Lasisi Babatunde’s artistic practice is based on the exploration and synergy of various materials as a tool for social commentary in addressing various issues in his environment and society at large as well as his reality.

Lasisi’s drawing and painting are his means of representation in a magnified proportion. His art varies as he loves to explore varieties of materials and play with ideas as they come, through compositions of different imagery. He sees poetry and beauty in everyday life that allows him to create paintings that speak to him and connects with his audience.
