BIOGRAPHY
Jaeyeon Yoo is a South Korean artist born in 1988. She received a BFA in Painting at the College of Art and Design, Ewha Women’s University, South Korea (2011), and earned her MA in painting from the Royal College of Art and Design in 2014.
Yoo concocts her paintings as an escape of reality. She creates her own imaginary world, inspired by tradition, but also transcending it. The result is an alternate realm filled with fantasy and wonder.
Yoo lives and works between London and Seoul.
